There is a variety of accommodation within 35 km of the 2016 WCOC event site at William A. Switzer Provincial Park. We strongly recommend that you book EARLY, as July/August is high season in the National Parks.
William A. Switzer Provincial Park has several campgrounds within its boundaries. Individual campsites can be reserved 90 days before the date you plan to arrive. *Note – Cache Lake and Graveyard Lake campgrounds and Beaver Ranch Group Campsite are out of bounds as the access road to them passes through the embargoed area for the WCOC events. You MAY stay at Jarvis Lake campground, which is to the west of the highway, or at Gregg Lake campground which is north of the map area. Further information and to reserve a site HERE. The Blue Lake Centre is no longer operational.
Hinton, on the Yellowhead Highway (Highway #16), is the closest town to the 2016 WCOC event site. It is located about 30 km southeast of the William A Switzer Provincial Park Visitor Centre (Kelley's Bathtub). It has a population of about 9,600 people and has a variety of stores, restaurants and accommodation, with information available on the Hinton Business Directory . Under ‘Category’, choose ‘Hotels & Motels’, Bed & Breakfasts’ or ‘Campgrounds’, then ‘Search’ to access further accommodation information.
There are several accommodations located between Hinton and the East Gate of Jasper National Park (less than a 30 min minute drive from the event site) as follows:

Jasper National Park, one of the Canadian gems, offers a variety of accommodation to tourists. You must have a valid park permit for Jasper National Park for the days you will be visiting or staying within the park.
