Canmore Nordic Centre
The COC Long, Sprint, and Sprint Relay races take place at the Canmore Nordic Centre. Also, registration pickup and the Orienteering Canada conference and AGM will be onsite. Note that the park is completely embargoed until after the Sprint Relay, other than the areas shown on the site layout map below.
The Canmore Nordic Centre was originally constructed for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. It is home to the Canadian Cross Country and Biathlon ski teams and is criss-crossed with a complex network of ski and mountain bike trails. There is a disc golf course on site, a permanent orienteering course, a bike skills park, and many mountain bike and hiking trails.
